"I did this design while on a trip along the north coast of Washington state, while stopping at several museums run by different Salish and Nuu Chah Nulth tribes. Seeing the energy in the work by ancestors and relatives of our neighbouring nations was deeply inspiring. This design was originally for a public art piece in Vancouver at the Vancouver Playhouse, but I wanted to do a refreshed version as an edition of prints. This version has a slightly different fish in the belly of the bear."
