"This weaving was inspired as a visual of my foundations of my art practice. primary colours, white and black. these represent the basics. The technical patterns represent the technology of the ancestors that have carried us so far. These coming together represents where i am now, and all the teachings and the foundation that gives me the ground to move forward and get stronger. This weaving was made with the intention to blanket my uncle, but when he passed it was gifted to a close relative to him."
